Mrs. Nicole Goodyear

I taught third grade at The Wheatlands Elementary School since the 2002-2003 school year and was excited to start teaching fourth grade during the 2017-2018 school year.  My professional journey began after graduating from North Central College, Naperville, Ill., in 2002. I was very fortunate to become apart of an amazing staff. After teaching for about three years, I returned to school, and obtained my master's degree in teaching from Rockford College, in Rockford, Ill. Most recently, I received my technology specialist endorsement from Aurora University, Aurora, Ill.

I attended elementary, junior high school, and high school in District 308. My educational experience in District 308 was a great one. It feels wonderful to be able to give back to the students who live in my community. Teaching was a dream of mine ever since I was a little girl, and to be able to live out my dream everyday is priceless. I had many caring teachers who helped me along the way, and now I am so blessed to be able to instill in my students the knowledge and confidence they need to make their own dreams come true.
