Mrs. Nicole Goodyear

I taught third grade at The Wheatlands Elementary School since the 2002-2003 school year and was excited for the opportunity to teach fourth grade for two years before returning to 3rd grade.  My professional journey began after graduating from North Central College, Naperville, Ill., in 2002. I was very fortunate to become apart of an amazing staff. After teaching for about three years, I returned to school, and obtained my master's degree in teaching from Rockford College, in Rockford, Ill. Most recently, I received my technology specialist endorsement from Aurora University, Aurora, Ill.

I attended elementary, junior high school, and high school in District 308. My educational experience in District 308 was a great one. It feels wonderful to be able to give back to the students who live in my community. Teaching was a dream of mine ever since I was a little girl, and to be able to live out my dream everyday is priceless. I had many caring teachers who helped me along the way, and now I am so blessed to be able to instill in my students the knowledge and confidence they need to make their own dreams come true.
