I attended Northern Illinois University in DeKalb, Ill., where I received my bachelor’s degree in Special Education, with a Hearing Impaired emphasis. I have since earned a Learning Behavior Specialist I endorsement. This is my 26th year of teaching, and this is my eighth year at Traughber Junior High School in the Deaf and Hard of Hearing program.

In the spring of 2019, I earned my Master's Degree in Special Education from Concordia University.
