Kinetic Wellness Teacher

I am a proud member of the Oswego East High School (OEHS) Kinetic Wellness staff. I received my associate’s degree from Illinois Valley Community College, Oglesby, Ill., where I also played basketball along with working at our family restaurant. I earned a bachelor’s degree in education in 1996 from Northern Illinois University, DeKalb, where I studied Physical Education and History. I obtained a master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Olivet Nazarene University, Bourbonnais, Ill., in 2003. I will be starting my 24th year of teaching overall and 15th year at Oswego East.  I have taught physical education at all grade levels and have been teaching drivers education for the past fifteen years. Beyond the classroom, I have coached basketball for 25 years at various levels. I have 20 years of coaching experience at the high school level and five years at the middle school level. I look forward to continued success at OEHS in the classroom and as the head varsity girls basketball coach. Go Wolves!
