Degrees and Certifications:
Mrs. Lisa Cook
Art Teacher
I received a bachelor’s degree in fine arts in art education from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, in 2007. I completed my master’s in school administration leadership from Olivet Nazarene University, Bourbonnais, Ill., in 2011. I have been teaching at Oswego East High School (OEHS) since the fall of 2007. I currently teach Graphic Communications I, II, III, and Advanced Graphic Communications, as well as Digital Arts Basics, Digital Arts Rendering, and Digital Snapshot. I have also taught jewelry, art foundations, and studio art history.
Athletics are a huge part of my life. I currently coach cross country and track and field. I coached volleyball at OEHS as well. I ran cross country and track while in college, and I still compete in marathons and various road races. I consider myself lucky to get to impact students in two distinct realms—the artistic and the athletic. I look forward to a great year!
