Degrees and Certifications:
Ms. Carrie Sloboda
I attended Joliet Junior Community College for two years before attending Northern Illinois University, in DeKalb, to attain my bachelor’s degree in special education. I've been working towards my master's degree at Concordia University in River Forest, Ill.
I started as a teacher at a therapeutic school for children and young adults with severe disabilities for two years. My journey continued working for Kendall County in 2003. I worked in both Plano and Yorkville from 2003 until 2014. Last school year, I started at Oswego East High School in the special education department. I teach algebra, geometry, consumer education, and co-teach consumer education and resource, in addition to completing my case management duties. I am excited to be part of the Oswego Community!
