Degrees and Certifications:
Mr. Bobby Wiemann
In December 2004, I received my bachelor’s degree in education from Northern Illinois University, DeKalb, and became certified to teach kindergarten through 12th grade. I began my career at Neuqua Valley High School teaching physical education, and while I was at Neuqua Valley I also spent time as a special education teaching assistant. I then found my way to District 308 by covering a maternity leave at Homestead Elementary School. I spent time substitute teaching for the next year. After that I accepted a full-time physical education position at Lakewood Creek Elementary in 2007. I’ve had the opportunity to teach at many buildings due to being a traveling teacher. Also during my time in District 308, I've spent 6 years coaching freshmen and junior varsity girls softball at Oswego High School. I also coached girls basketball for 9 years at OHS. I'm excited to announce that I'll be starting my first year of coaching boys basketball this season at OHS. Last Spring I completed my Master's Degree in Educational Technology from Aurora University.
