Degrees and Certifications:
Ms. Michele Lintner
I am excited to be a 4th grade teacher at Homestead this year! I knew that I wanted to be a teacher ever since I was in first grade. After a rough year in kindergarten, I had a wonderful first grade teacher that I always aspire to emulate as I work with students. I received my bachelor‘s degree from Northern Illinois University, DeKalb, in elementary education, with junior high endorsements in language arts and social science. I also have a master's degree in teaching and learning from University of St. Francis. I have completed the Gifted Education Seminar and have an endorsement in gifted education. My past teaching experiences include teaching teaching gifted education at Fox Chase Elementary for 6 years, teaching 4th grade at East View Elementary, and also working with students in kindergarten through fifth grades. I enjoy offering my students opportunities to think critically, problem solve, and develop the skills needed to become lifelong learners.
