Degrees and Certifications:
Ms. Jennifer Patterson
I attended Northern Illinois University, DeKalb, where I received my bachelor’s degree in special education, with endorsements as a learning behavioral specialist for children ages three to 21. I attended Benedictine University, in Lisle, IL, where I received my master’s degree in reading, with endorsements as a reading specialist for kindergarten through 12th grade. I am a Level 1 Certified Wilson Dyslexia Practitioner. I’ve taught elementary special education since 2000 for the Kendall County Special Education Cooperative. I have spent all my years teaching at various elementary schools located within School District 308. I am currently teaching at Long Beach Elementary School, where I have taught at all grade levels as a special education teacher. I'm enjoying every minute of it!
