I have been teaching both health and eighth grade physical education at Plank Junior High School since it opened in 2006. Along with teaching physical education at Plank, I am also the Head boys and girls soccer coach at Plank. Prior to teaching at Plank, I taught at Thompson Junior High for one year. 

I attended Western Illinois University, Macomb, where I received my bachelor's degree in kinesiology and my master’s in educational administration and supervision from Governor`s State University, Chicago. I really enjoy instilling an active lifestyle in the students I teach, and I strive to provide my students with a fun, educational classroom.
