My teaching career began following the completion of my B.S. in Special Education at Illinois State University.  After teaching special education at the middle school level for several years, I earned my M.S. in Education from Northern Illinois University. I was very happy to be offered a language arts teaching position at Plank Junior High when it opened in 2006. I am thrilled to work with the staff, parents, and school community to foster life-long learning as well as provide a positive and successful learning experience.
