Mrs. Stephanie Stegich

I am Mrs. Stegich. As an undergraduate, I attended the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign where I majored in English with a minor in Secondary Education. In addition, I completed my Master of Arts in English from Northern Illinois University in 2017. I have a license to teach 6th to 12th grade English with a middle school endorsement to teach language arts and social studies. I also have an endorsement in gifted education.

This will be my eleventh year teaching (sixth here at OHS). I have enjoyed teaching the following courses here at OHS: English 2, English 4, AP Literature and Composition, Interpersonal Communications, and a Guided Study SAT course. Over the course of my career, I have coached middle school softball, assisted in coaching high school softball, sponsored an anime club, and co-sponsored National English Honor Society. During the summer, I shift gears and teach enrichment classes for elementary and middle school students at the Avery Coonley School Summer Camp.

I know that e-learning in Fall 2020 seems daunting, especially because there is so much unknown, but you can access the weekly agendas here:
