I am super excited to be your child’s teacher this year!

I attended Aurora University, in Aurora, IL., where I received my bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education, with a middle school endorsement in science. I obtained my bilingual certificate from Northern Illinois University, DeKalb, IL. and my administrative certificate from Roosevelt University, Schaumburg, IL.  I have taught First, Third, Fourth and Fifth grades.  I have been a dual language teacher most of my career and have LOVED helping all of my students become bilingual, biliterate and bicultural.   

I'm looking forward to a fabulous year!

¡Estoy súper contenta de ser la maestra de su hijo(a) este año!

Yo atendí la universidad  de Aurora, en Aurora, Illinois, donde obtuve mi licenciatura en educación primaria, con  certificación para instruir ciencias naturales en la escuela secundaria. Obtuve mi certificado como educadora bilingüe en la universidad de Northern Illinois en DeKalb, Illinois. También poseo un certificado administrativo de la universidad de Roosevelt en Schaumburg, Illinois. He enseñado en primer, tercer, cuarto y quinto grado. Estoy muy ORGULLOSA de enseñar en el programa de doble idioma. El poder ayudar a todos mis estudiantes a convertirse en personas bilingües, biculturales y proficientes en lectoescritura en inglés y español, es un placer.
