Degrees and Certifications:
Mrs. Kendra Greene
I attended the University of Montana in Missoula, MT, where I studied both Spanish Language and Literature, and French Language and Literature. My studies included emphases in Linguistics, History, and English as a second/other language. I have studied in both Salamanca, Spain, as well as in Burgundy and Paris, France. My love of language, culture, and history extends to German and Mandarin, too, both of which I have studied formally. Locally, I have furthered my education at Benedictine University. As we have AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination) students in 5th grade, I strive to teach focus and perseverance toward higher education. I believe that one never stops learning, and therefore, promote myself as a lifelong learner. My experiences, be them at UM, Benedictine, Alliance Française, or Colegio de España, have broadened my horizons and shaped the person and educator I am.
It is a unique pleasure to be in my seventh year teaching 5th grade Dual Language here at Hunt Club Elementary. It is a privilege and delight to work with students of this age group. I seek to instill life applications skills in all of my students to help them not only be the best students they can be, but also the best people they can be. We will focus our year on preparing to be successful lifelong learners.
