I attended Illinois State University, Normal, receiving my undergraduate degree in elementary education with a specialty endorsement in mathematics. After completing my student teaching at Long Beach Elementary School, I was hired to teach 3rd Grade at The Wheatlands Elementary School. There, I served as the grade level leader for the district, while earning my master’s degree in administration. I assisted in opening Wolf’s Crossing in 2005, where I served in the various capacities teaching 3rd and 5th Grades, as well serving Assistant Principal for two years during that nine-year span. I joined the Pirate staff in 2014, after nine years at Wolf’s Crossing.  I currently teach Math 602 and the AVID 8 Elective, while serving on the AVID Site Team, NJHS Selection Committe, as well as the Athletic Director and Track Coach.
