Mr. Anthony Holub

Science Teacher

Anthony Holub is enjoying his 15th year in School District 308. He spent his first year as a math and science teacher at Thompson Junior High. Holub then helped open Plank Junior High and remained there for seven years as a math and science teacher and athletic director. He worked at both high school campuses in 2013 as a Project Lead the Way and honors physics teacher. Holub has since moved to Oswego East High School (OEHS) full time as both an AP Physics 1 and Project Lead the Way instructor. He enjoys helping students reach their full potential in STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) related fields and looks forward to continued growth in this vital global career path.


Holub’s educational background includes a bachelor’s degree in math and physics from North Central College, in Naperville, Ill., with a minor in secondary education. He also received his master’s degree in educational administration from Governors State University, Chicago, in 2005. He continues to take courses in gifted education, technology, SEL, and Project Lead the Way to continue providing optimal instruction for all classes.
