I received my bachelors degree from Eastern Illinois University in Physical Education with a teaching endorsement for Health Education. I also completed my Driver Education endorsement at Northern Illinois University. I started teaching in 1998 at an Elementary School in Morris, Illinois and taught in that district for 6 years before I started teaching in the Oswego School District 308 in 2004.  I received my Masters Degree from the University of St. Francis in Educational Leadership.  I have enjoyed teaching in the Oswego School District as well as coaching the Boys Track & Field team.
