Amy Mcilvaine

I graduated in December of 1990 from Illinois State University with a degree in Special Education. After starting my first teaching position as an Elementary K-6 Resource teacher, I began my Master's degree program, also at Illinois State University, in Fall of 1992 and completed it in the Spring of 1994.  After getting married in 1994 and taking some time off of teaching to raise my four daughters, I restarted my teaching career in 2009 with the Kendal County Special Education Cooperative.  I taught for five years as an Elementary Special Education Teacher in the Diagnostic and Life Skills prgrams at Churchill Elementary and Fox Chase Elementary.  Then in the fall of 2014 I was transferred to Oswego High school and have been lucky and priviledged to continue being one of the Life Skills teacher here for the past seven years.
