My name is Julene Freund, and I have been teaching early childhood for over 20 years. I love being part of the Brokaw Family!

I graduated from Northwestern University with a B.A. in English, then went on to earn my M.A. at National-Louis University in early childhood education. I hold an Early Childhood Type 04 Teaching License, and I have my Special Education and my ELL endorsements.  

I currently live in Plainfield with my husband, Brian.  He and I keep busy traveling, playing tennis, and spending time with our niece and nephews. We also enjoy being an aunt and uncle to keep us busy!
