Degrees and Certifications:

Miss Aly Lansky

This is my first year at The Wheatlands after being at Grande Park Elementary the past 3 years. Previously, I was a special education teacher in the West Aurora School District. I grew up in Oswego attending Bednarcik Junior High School and Oswego East High School. I graduated from Lewis University in 2013 with my bachelor’s degree in both special education and elementary education. I graduated with my master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction with an English as a Second Language Endorsement from Lewis University in 2015. I strongly value the importance of always continuing to learn, as there is always something new to discover!

I also coach club soccer for the Chicago Rush Soccer Club  and girls soccer at Oswego East High School. Coaching and playing soccer my whole life has really taught me the importance of teamwork, communication, and perseverance which I want all my students to develop as well.  I strongly believe that every student has strengths and goals, and my goal is to help them develop the tools and mindset for them to achieve them.
