Degrees and Certifications:
Mr. Trevor Huser
I attended the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign where I received my bachelor’s degree in chemistry and a minor in secondary education in May of 2015. I also received an endorsement in secondary math education. While at Illinois, I completed clinical experiences teaching a variety of middle and high school science courses, and worked as a teaching assistant (TA) for three semesters in the Merit Chemistry Program. I am currently working on a Masters of Arts in Educational Technology at Aurora University, and plan on graduating in May of 2019!
I am proud to start my teaching career at Oswego High School (OHS)! I teach Chemistry and Physics. In my 4 years as a panther, I have also taught Earth and Space Science and Honors Chemistry. As a science teacher, it is my goal to teach my students how to think critically and solve problems. I am more concerned with students being able to apply their knowledge than to spew out memorized fact.
I look forward to the year ahead, GO PANTHERS!
