Welcome to the PRIDE Recognition Program for 2018-2019 School Year!
The PRIDE (Proudly Recognizing Individuals Demonstrating Excellence) program recognizes, promotes and celebrates the many contributions made by teachers, employees and volunteers of Oswego Community Unit School District 308.
Monthly: Two (2) teachers, one (1) employee and one (1) volunteer will be recognized during the months of September through April
Yearly: One (1) teacher, one (1) employee and one (1) volunteer will be recognized from those monthly winners at the beginning of the next school year as the Yearly PRIDE winner
Any SD 308 employee, student, parent, community member, or alumni may nominate individuals. Self-nominations are not accepted.
Nomination period opens on the first of each month and closes at 4:00 pm on the 14th of each month. Nominations received after 4:00 pm on the 14th will be held and considered for the next month.
Nominations need to include the following:
- Nominator's name, phone number and email
- Nominee's name, job, and school/department nominee is most associated with
- Description of nominee's contributions to the district, community involvement and outstanding employee/volunteer characteristics
- Optional: Essay (500 words or less) that supports and shares personal observations of how the nominee demonstrates a commitment to child-centered excellence
