Mrs. Annika Bochenski

Special Education Teacher

I attended Aurora University and earned a master’s degree in special education (a learning behavior specialist or LBS 1 degree). I was inspired to pursue a career in special education, while volunteering at my children’s school. I fell in love with working with the students, particularly those that needed a little extra support. Having the opportunity to facilitate learning and growth is such a privilege, and I enjoy every minute. Prior to my career as an educator, I spent many years working as a supply chain engineer after attending Michigan State University in East Lansing, where I received my bachelor’s degree from the department of Human Ecology and my master’s degree in business administration.

This is my seventh year teaching at Oswego East High School. I co-teach Algebra 2 and Algebra 2 A/B, in addition to my case management duties. I am looking forward to working with students, and their parents, to help them achieve and reach their goals.
