Welcome to 1st grade! I am very excited to be your child's teacher this year. After being a stay-at-home mom for ten years, I attended North Central College where I got my bachelor's degree in elementary education. I then student taught at The Wheatlands Elementary in 2010 and worked in the district as a TA and long-term substitute teacher. I have been teaching full-time since 2015. Reading is my passion, and I am very excited to have the opportunity to instill that love in your child.  I look forward to being part of your child’s growth as both readers and writers, and motivating them to be successful learners.  I spent several years at Boulder Hill Elementary and I'm excited to return to being a wolf again at The Wheatlands!
