Degrees and Certifications:
Mr. Roberto Flores
This is my fifth year teaching dual language at Hunt Club Elementary and I greatly enjoy being apart of this educational community. I am currently in my 9th year as a teacher. During my first 3 years of teaching, I was employed as an ESL/Bilingual educator at Laraway Elementary School in Joliet. I had the great fortune of working with English language learners of varying ages that allowed me to help them use their native language as a bridge to academic success. I obtained my master's in Education from Aurora University. In 2016, I finished coursework for my ESL/Bilingual endorsement through Lewis University. I am thrilled to be a part of District 308's Dual Language Program, because it is refreshing to see a school and district whole-heartedly embrace the native language of so many of our students and use it as a resource in attaining academic success.
