Mrs. Melinda Renier

I am honored to partner with our Traughber families and students as principal of our school. My first job in teaching was at the junior high level where I worked for my first 10 years in education as a teacher and later as assistant principal. I was a department leader, coach, and Athletic Director.  I then served as an elementary principal in both Indiana and here in SD308 at Homestead for the last 16 years.  I earned both my bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Indiana University. I have experienced over the years that there are many pathways to success and look forward to helping our students find the path that works best for each of them.
