Mrs. Alexis F. Zayed
World Language Teacher
I have been a proud member of the Oswego East faculty since 2016. This will be my 22nd year of teaching. I have taught high school Spanish in Michigan and Illinois, and I spent 14 years teaching elementary and junior high Spanish at a local private school. I am excited to once again be teaching Spanish 1 and 2 in an environment that both challenges and nurtures students.
I earned my bachelor’s degree from Eastern Michigan University and completed my Masters of Education in Instructional Design and Technology in 2020.
I am the proud mom of 3 kids, all of whom are in college this year at Resurrection University Chicago, Loyola University Chicago, and Iowa State University. I was proud to have been a Boy Scout and Girl Scout leader for 15 years. I love to travel and have been to Spain and Mexico. Only 18 more Spanish-speaking countries to go!
SD308 has a great school community with incredible students, parents, staff, and administrators. I am proud to be part of the Wolf Pack and I am looking forward to another great year working with the students and families of Oswego East High School.
