Degrees and Certifications:
Ms. Gina Robuck
Hello! I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Iowa (GO Hawks!). I then earned my Masters of Education Specialist Degree in School Psychology at Loyola University as well as a Masters Degree in Educational Leadership from Concordia University of Chicago. I have been working in the field of education as a school psychologist for over twenty years.
My passion is working with staff and families to apply my expertise in mental health, learning, and behavior to help students’ succeed academically, socially, emotionally, and behaviorally. I continually collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to help create safe, healthy, and supportive learning environments for all students. I am part of a team that develops and monitors interventions for students who need additional academic, social-emotional, and/or behavioral support. I also work closely with special education teachers when evaluating students who have or may have special education needs.
Here’s my top 5 reasons why I love the work I do:
- I get to bask in the awesomeness of kids!
- I get to build long-lasting relationships with kids and families!
- I get to be a “strength amplifier”!
- I am constantly learning new and interesting things!
- I get to be an advocate for kids!
