Degrees and Certifications:

Mrs. Lauren Anderson

Having graduated from Oswego High School I couldn't be happier having the privelage to continue my teaching career as a Panther! I am fortunate to be able to be teaching my passion, Health Education, and with such an incredible student body and staff. After graduating from OHS, I went on to continue my education at Kent State University to receive a degree in Health Education. Since then, I've received endorsements in Drivers Education and Physical Education. I also went on and received my Masters in Leadership Administration. I began my teaching career in 2005 in District 308. After teaching for 8 years I had the opportunity to expand my career and became the assistant principal at Freeman Elementary School in West Aurora. Realizing my passion and love for teaching and working with high school students, I returned to the classroom at Yorkville High School. Now, being back where it all started, I couldn't be happier being a Panther and teaching at Oswego High School.

Along with teaching, soccer has always been a big part of my life. I played soccer at OHS, was fortunate enough to get a full scholarship to play Division I soccer in college, played 1 year of semi-professional soccer and have coached ever since. I've coached boys and girls soccer at Oswego East High School and 2 years at Yorkville High School. I've been a head varsity coach since 2006 and am excited to be a part of the soccer program here at OHS as an asssitant girls soccer coach. Once a Panther, Always a Panther!!!
