Degrees and Certifications:

B.A. in English and Secondary Education, Minor in Spanish

Ms. Sarah Hands

My name is Sarah Hands, and I started teaching in the Oswego English Department in 2017. I received my undergraduate degree in English, Secondary Education, and Spanish from Washington University in St. Louis, and I am currently working toward my M.A. in Literature and Rhetoric at Northern Illinois University. I love everything about teaching here, and I am so happy to have found my home among this wonderful community of Panthers!

Currently, I teach English 2, Honors English 2, Digital Journalism 1, and Digital Journalism 2. I am the adviser of our student news and media website, 42Fifty. If you have any questions about journalism or are interested in producing content for 42Fifty, I'm the person to talk to!
