Online Donations: $1 = 8 items
(October 12 - November 8, 2020)
Hunger is less prevalent in our community thanks to the Kendall County Community Food Pantry (KCCFP) providing thousands of food and household items to families every month. For the seventh consecutive year, Oswego Community Unit School District 308 will help to keep pantry shelves well stocked! This year, the food drive will be working in coordination with the opening of the Oswego Satellite of the Kendall County Community Food Pantry's location at East View Academy.
October 19 through October 28, all schools in the district will participate in the district’s annual food drive competition. Friendly competition between schools, with the school collecting the most combined total of actual items and "equivalent" items, will be awarded with a coveted trophy and "bragging" rights.
ALL monetary donations made online through the KCCFP will be designated for a specific school. All online as well as in-person cash/check donations will be counted as $1 = 8 items towards the competition count (checks made payable to KCCFP).
