Degrees and Certifications:
Ms. Nicole Crocker
Hello! I am Nicole Crocker, and I am an English Learner English Teacher at Oswego High School. This is my second year of teaching at OHS, and it has been an honor to be a Panther! Even though I have been in education for several years, it is my second year of full-time teaching...and I am loving it! Prior to my EL role, I taught Special Education right here at OHS for one year. It is a joy interacting with Panther staff and students everyday.
My degrees consist of a Bachelor's of Arts in Special Education (Benedictine University, 2012); Master's of Arts in Early Childhood Education/ESL Endorsement (Lewis University, 2014); Master's of Science in English Education (Nova Southeastern University, 2017). I am proud to say that I will be starting my online doctoral program in January 2021 at Capella University. My course of study will be in Curriculum and Instruction. I am ceritified to teach Special Education (ages 0 - 21), Early Childhood (preK - grade 3), and High School English (grades 9-12).
Personally, I enjoy reading, cooking (spaghetti is my favorite dish to make!), gardening, watching movies and TV shows, singing in the choir at my church, and walking on the trail. I truly cherish spending time with my family and friends. I also cherish the time that I spend instructing and molding the minds of young people in the classroom.
It is a pleasure and a blessing to partner with you in guiding your young adult to a path of success!
