Degrees and Certifications:
Mrs. Renai Vodick
Welcome Brokaw families!
For six years, I was a teaching assistant in an early childhood special education program in Woodridge School District 68. I so enjoyed working with preschoolers with special needs that I went back to school and received my master’s degree in Early Childhood Education with endorsements in English as a second language and early childhood special education from National Louis University, Chicago. I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in liberal arts from the University of Illinois. At Brokaw, I was a blended teacher for two years before my current position as one of the five cross-categorical teachers.
I hope you have enjoyed your summer and found time to rest and relax. As you are probably aware, our District will be starting the school year with a 'remote for all' learning plan. For Brokaw students, this means they will participate in live virtual instructional sessions in whole and small groups and pre-recorded lessons. Hopefully, we will be together for in-person learning soon, but in the meantime, we will still be together and enjoying each's other company.
