Mr. Tyler Haymond

Principal

I am honored to be the Principal at Plank Junior High. I look forward to working with our parents, students, and staff to further promote academic growth and student success. I received my bachelor’s degree in special education from Illinois State University. I moved on to Concordia University where I pursued and received my Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership. One of my passions is working and supporting students with special needs. I received my endorsement for Director of Special Education from the University of St. Francis.

Our goal at Plank Junior High is to prepare our students by teaching them the essential academic and social skills they need to succeed in high school and beyond. We also plan to provide a warm and welcoming environment for our students, parents, and valued community members. Welcome to Plank!
