B.A. in Secondary Education and English

Mrs. Ewa Tulak

Hello! My name is Ewa Tulak. I am one of the English teachers here at Oswego High School and the Yearbook Adviser. While this is my first year here, it is not my first year teaching. I graduated from Saint Xavier University in December 2012 with a B.A. in Secondary Education and English, and I was very fortunate to obtain my first teaching position right away with the Lincoln-Way High School District 210. I was there for 2.5 years, and due to a school closure, I moved on and started working at Aurora Central Catholic High School. There, I taught and advised yearbook students for 5 years. However, I missed the public school environment; I knew that I would need to go back to the public school setting to fulfill my dreams and career goals.

Over the past 8 years, I have gained tremendous experience teaching a variety of different courses and levels in addition to helping with curriculum design. I am truly looking forward to working with my students this year and learning more each day. While this is only the beginning at OHS for me, I already feel the sense of belonging with the Panther Family.

Any important information pertaining to the classes I teach can be found on my Google Classrooms that the students have access to. Also, attached are the links to my W.A.G.s. Please don't hesitate to reach out with any questions/comments/concerns!
