Aurora Police Dept.
The Aurora Police Dept. provides leadership for our Drug Abuse Resistance Education (DARE) program for our 5th grade students. The students learn the different types of drug abuse and are given extra tools necessary to stand up to peer pressure in order to make the correct decisions. Culver’s, in conjunction with Homestead PTA, sponsors a monthly family night donating a percentage of proceeds back to Homestead PTA. The third Wednesday of every month Homestead staff members will be “serving” dinner to help support the fundraising for our school. Visit Culver's.

Fox Valley Park District
Every year the Fox Valley Park District donates a tree to Homestead, and other Park District area schools, to celebrate Arbor Day. They also provide numerous programming opportunities for our families and/or students. Visit Fox Valley Park District

Mutual Ground
Mutual Ground has been providing Homestead with programs on violence and assault prevention education since our opening in 2002. Training is provided for students in first, third, and fourth grades.  Visit Mutual Ground.

Oswegoland Park District
The park district operates the KidsConnection before and after school day care program at Homestead. Visit Oswego Land Park District

Oswego Public Library
The Oswego Public Library facilitates a reading club with students in conjunction with our Learning Resource Center director. They also provide assistance and resources for classroom projects. Visit Oswego Public Library.

University of Illinois Extension – Kendall County
The Extension provides educational awareness services in the area of agriculture for our students.  They provide a variety of 4H school enrichment programs, such as Farm Friends and Ag in the Classroom. Visit University of Illinois Extension Kendall County.
