Mr. Patrick Haddock

Principal

I am honored to be the Principal for Hunt Club Elementary School. It is truly a privilege to be be a part of this wonderful community.  I am excited to continue to build strong, positive relationships with students, staff, and parents within this wonderful community.  I received my bachelor's degree at Southern Illinois University.  I have a master's degree in educational administration from Aurora University.

I am fortunate to start my fifth year as an educator within SD308.  My first assignment in SD308 was serving as an Assistant Principal for Fox Chase Elementary School.  Since then, I have found a home at Hunt Club Elementary School.  I officially began my appointment as Principal for Hunt Club Elementary School at the beginning of the 2016-2017 school year.  Prior to working in SD308, my teaching experience was in 4th and 5th grades in Burlington School District as well as within Clermont, Florida.

Hunt Club Elementary School is an amazing place filled with students and staff who enjoy learning while creating an outstanding school environment.  My passion is all about building relationships.  I am a strong believer in investing the time to make those connections with students, staff and members within the community.

I look forward to continuing to apply the knowledge of the community, the district, and my experience working with students and staff at Hunt Club Elementary School.

Assistant Principal

I am very excited to be starting another year at Hunt Club Elementary School!  I am starting my second year as an assistant principal in SD308 in the 2017/2018 school year.  I want to thank all the students and parents who made my first year such a success.  I immediately felt welcomed into our school community and hope to offer that sense of hospitality to all the new families this school year.

I recently moved to the area from Chatham, Illinois, where I served as an assistant principal for 6 years in an elementary school.  During my time in Chatham I was able to learn many things about myself and my love for students that I hope to continue to bring to Hunt Club.  One of my passions is  rewarding students who show good character and follow our school's goals of being respectful, responsible, and safe.  I also aim to assist those students who aren't quite capable of these characteristics yet.  I hope to establish relationships with families to work together to better help all students succeed.

My teaching experience comes from working with 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students in Mahomet, Illinois, the town where I grew up.  It was a dream to go back and teach in a school with teachers that I previously had. I was able to practice and grow as a young educator with colleagues that I respected and trusted.  I have been able to bring many of my teaching practices to Hunt Club to assist our teachers and students.

I look forward to another year working together with our community, parents, teachers, and students to truly make each student the best they can be!
