    Student Council of Old Post (SCOOP)

    Each year students are elected by their peers to represent their classroom on the Student Council of Old Post (SCOOP).  SCOOP provides students with a wonderful way to share their ideas and opinions, and to truly make a difference at Old Post!  Please enter through door 1. 
     
     
    Character Counts Club (CC! Club)

    CC! Club recognizes students as leaders of good character.  These students use their leadership skills to promote their character through the Old Post school.  This group aims to help identify and encourage good character in other,  as well as improve character and school climate through positive recognition. 
     
     
    After School Sports: Girls & Boys

    Students will learn about teamwork, sportsmanship, good character in athletics.  They will also practice extended drills, skills, lead up games, fitness and intramurals in After School Sports.
     
     
    Safety Patrol

    Safety Patrol is a group of 5th Grade students volunteers who help keep other students safe in the halls and outside of the school building before and after school.  They set a good example for other students and remind others of the safety rules if they are not being followed.
     
     
    Yearbook Club

    Yearbook Club gives our students an opportunity to create and design the Old Post yearbook.  Students will learn about basic design and composition, yearbook layout and photography.  Students will assist with the organization of yearbook ideas and pages, as well as promote and distribute yearbooks.

    This club is designed to help support students' learning by utilizing computer-based programs.
     
     
    Fall Honor Choir

    The Fall Honor Choirs will learn and practice musical concepts through vocal performance (choir).  Both choirs will perform together in a winter concert in December.

     The Spring Honor Choir will learn and practice musical concepts through vocal performance (choir).  Choir will perform together in a spring concert with other local elementary schools.  
     
    Young Rembrandts

    This session is for the students who attend Old Post.  Classes take place once a week for one hour immediately after school.  A brand new drawing is introduced each week in a non-competitive environment that is designed to teach basic to advanced drawing skills, art techniques, creativity and art vocabulary.

    The Robotics Academy is a comprehensive afterschool program where children are learning to design, build and program robots.  Using a creative educational approach that supports Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM), this class is led by Chasewood Learning's teacher-led instruction followed by fun, engaging and dynamic activities.
