Old Post Elementary offers a variety of special clubs and activities for our students. These activities are designed to foster and enhance students' educational experience and talents outside of the classroom.

Young Rembrandts: K-5th

This session is for the students who attend Old Post. Classes take place once a week for one hour immediately after school. A brand new drawing is introduced each week in a non-competitive environment that is designed to teach basic to advanced drawing skills, art techniques, creativity, and art vocabulary.

Student Council of Old Post (SCOOP)
Grade: 3rd, 4th, 5th
Each year students are elected by their peers to represent their classroom on the Student Council of Old Post (SCOOP). SCOOP provides students with a wonderful way to share their ideas, opinions, and to truly make a difference at Old Post!
After School Sports: Girls & Boys Grade: 4th/5th
Students will learn about teamwork, sportsmanship, good character in athletics. They will also practice extended drills, skills, lead up games, fitness and intramurals in After School Sports.
Safety Patrol
Grade: 5th
Safety Patrol is a group of 5th Grade students volunteers who help keep other students safe in the halls and outside of the school building before and after school. They set a good example for other students and remind others of the safety rules if they are not being followed.
Spring Honor ChoirGrade: 4th, 5th
The Spring Honor Choir for 4th and 5th graders will learn and practice musical concepts through vocal performance (choir). Choir will perform together in a spring concert with other local elementary schools.
