Board of Education Approves Lisa A. Camire, Interim Assistant Principal
Thompson Junior High School
Oswego, Ill. (November 12, 2018) — Oswego Community Unit School District 308 Board of Education has approved Lisa A. Camire, Interim Assistant Principal - Thompson Junior High School for the remainder of the 2018/19 school year. Camire is filling the position previously held by Sam LeDeaux who resigned.
“Ms. Camire’s strong knowledge of World Language and the AVID curriculum as well as the varied duties and responsibilities she has overseen in her various roles while employed both as the World Language Department Chair and Assistant Principal in California, will make her an exceptional Assistant Principal at Thompson,” said Shannon Lueders director of junior high school education
Lisa has a Master of Arts in Teaching and Learning, Point Loma Nazarene University; Bachelor of Arts, Spanish, Bradley University; Bachelor of Arts, French, Bradley University. Ms. Camire started her teaching career in 2005 as a French and Spanish Teacher in the Palatine School District, Palatine, IL. In 2006, she moved to California where she was employed at Miguel High School in Spring Valley from 2006-2016, first as a French teacher at Mount Miguel High School and then ending in her current position there as there as the Assistant Principal.
