Important Registration Information for the 2019/2020 School Year
May 29, 2019
Hello Oswego Community Unit School District 308 Families,
We are in the process of converting to a new student information system, Tyler Technologies. Since our district is so large, this conversion process takes some time. This new system replaces eSchool, and the parent portal Home Access Center.
It is estimated that the new system will be fully functional by mid-July. At that time, you will receive an introductory email and instructions on how to set-up your account. An email address is necessary to access the parent portal. If you do not have an email account, please create one and provide it to your child’s school as soon as possible. Free email accounts can be created using Gmail, Yahoo, AOL, and many others.
Accuracy of your information in our current student records is very important. Please take a few minutes to be sure that your contact information is correct in Home Access, so that valid information is being transferred to the new system. If you are unable to make updates in Home Access, please contact your child’s school to update the information.
All returning students are automatically enrolled for the 2019/2020 school year; there is no official process for registering needed for the upcoming school year. Incoming kindergartners should have registered with the district during designated kindergarten registration days, if not, please contact Central Registration ASAP. Please note, any outstanding affidavit or residency requirements will need to be completed in order for your student(s) to attend school in the fall; for those with outstanding requirements, more information will follow. If your student(s) will not continue in our district next year, please notify your school immediately so the student(s) can be withdrawn and not enrolled for the fall.
Additional communication will be sent regarding health forms, and requirements for medical, dental and vision exams and immunizations.
We appreciate your assistance in providing an email address and verifying that your student(s) records are accurate. If you have any questions, please contact your school’s office.
