PRIDE Winners for December
Oswego, Ill. (December 27, 2019) Oswego Community Unit School District 308 announced the 2019-2020 December winners of the PRIDE (Proudly Recognizing Individuals Demonstrating Excellence) Recognition Program at its Monday, December 9, 2019 Board of Education meeting.
“The individuals honored and recognized as PRIDE winners not only go above and beyond for our students and schools but they also reflect the true meaning of service,” said Dr. John Sparlin, superintendent of schools. “The board and I are honored to recognize our teachers and our employees through our PRIDE program for all they do on a daily basis for the success of our students.”
This year, the PRIDE program is recognizing teachers and employees from all schools and departments across the district for their great work! The winners for the month of December 2019 are:
Allied First Bank - Teachers of the Month:
Long Beach Elementary School:
- Mike Cavello, 4th Grade Teacher
- Tracy Zalud, Kindergarten/Gifted Ed Teacher
- Adrienne Cruz, Case Manager Teacher
Huntington Learning Center - Employees of the Month:
From Long Beach Elementary School:
- Joan Denton, Lunchroom/Recess Supervisor
From the Transition Center:
- Gerald Houston, Teacher Assistant-Job Coach
From the Operations Department:
- Guadalupe Rodriguez, Day Custodian
The winners each received recognition and prizes from various District Partner sponsors: Allied First Bank, Hunting Learning Center, Chick-fil-A, and Costco.
