Board Member Pollock

Dr. Rovel Pollock

Board Member

Inspired by her desire to see all SD 308 students thrive, Dr. Rovel Pollock joined the Board of Education in 2025. With over 20 years of experience as an educator, Dr. Pollock has aided in advancing outcomes for students regardless of their background or circumstances.

Dr. Pollock is deeply encouraged by the district’s Strategic Plan and the work being done to enhance the learning experience for SD 308 students. She loves seeing students at the forefront of every decision made by the district, whether in relation to the Long-Range Facility Plan or college and career readiness.

Dr. Pollock is the mother of two children, including one who is a current student at Oswego East High School. She is heavily involved in their activities and can often be found cheering on her daughter at gymnastics competitions and track meets. Dr. Pollock also prioritizes participating in community events that bring families together as a way to stay connected to those around her.
