Thank you for guiding a valuable conversation regarding plans for our schools. This plan is a collective of ideas, including the voices of our students, staff, parents, alumni, and community members. Through this shared vision of success for 2028 and beyond, we will help our students achieve in their education journey while feeling empowered to face their next chapter.

1. Determine which of the questions from the bank you plan to discuss and reply to.

• Academic: What academic skills should be a priority for students in Oswego SD 308? What do you see that supports this skill development in SD 308, and what is missing?
• Academic/Wellness: Do students feel adequately challenged by their classwork, activities, and assignments? But not overwhelmed? What helps strike that balance?
• Student Wellness: What are the most significant concerns related to the well-being of students? How do you see the schools supporting this concern?
• Self-Directed Learning: How are leadership and student responsibility being fostered in schools? What additional ideas do you have to enhance student leadership and self-directed learning?
• Staff Wellness: In what ways do staff feel valued by their leadership and community? What can be done to enhance this at your school, district, or community?
• Special Education: What supports and services in SD 308 bring the greatest value to the student experience? What do you hope to see added?
• English Learners: What practices in the classroom help your student be successful? What additional supports are needed? 

2. Decide if you will provide a collective answer to the district or if each individual participating in the discussion will submit their form.

3. Play the opening video message for attendees (available in English or Spanish).

4. Set a time parameter for the discussion (suggested 20-30 minutes).

5. Access the online feedback form to provide answers to the questions discussed.

6. Encourage all participants to access the district website for additional survey and polling opportunities, in addition to in-person focus groups and town hall meetings at www.sd308.org/OurStory
