Student Assignment

As neighborhoods continue to grow and shift, SD 308 is proactively reviewing enrollment and school boundaries to ensure schools across the district maintain the optimal amount of space for students. While projections across the district show adequate capacity to serve the full student population, the shift in areas of growth may require boundary adjustments to accommodate the years ahead.

During these sessions, families will:
  • Learn about current student enrollment projections
  • Review potential boundary changes for the next school year
  • Explore future phased changes expected in the coming years
“Oswego is a dynamic and growing community,” said Superintendent Dr. Andalib Khelghati. “These conversations are about looking ahead together, ensuring that as our neighborhoods evolve, we continue to provide every student with access to well-balanced learning environments and high-quality educational experiences.”

Some proposed adjustments for the 2026–2027 school year may impact elementary and junior high boundaries. Community input will play a crucial role in the decision-making process.

Families are encouraged to attend either session and share their perspectives.
