Dominick Cirone

Board President

Dominick Cirone joined the SD 308 Board of Education in 2022 and was elected Board President in 2025. His commitment to supporting continuous improvement in student academic achievement has been a driving force behind his service on the Board and his willingness to assume a leadership role.
 
With more than 20 years of experience as a Treasury Manager for a Fortune 500 company, Mr. Cirone brings significant expertise in financial strategy, risk management, and long-term planning. His professional background strengthens the Board’s work around fiscal responsibility and sustainable decision-making. In addition to his financial perspective, he is a strong advocate for early intervention supports, inspired by the compelling outcomes demonstrated in educational research.
 
A resident of Oswego for more than 15 years, Mr. Cirone is both a community member and SD 308 parent, with two children currently attending district schools. His involvement extends beyond the Board through participation in multiple community-based committees, further underscoring his dedication to the district, its families, and the broader community it serves.
